Market Research FAQ
Q: What are some good resources to find this information (both about the company and the market) other than just Googling? I have access to Crunchbase, and I know websites offer a lot of info, but are there any other ones that consistently prove helpful?
To start, it can be helpful to leverage resources from VC / firms that produce research/content.

Q: If not a part of pitch meetings, what is a good way to find out the “story” behind the founders and team?
Podcasts! I try to search the company or team in apple podcasts and find that it's a great way to learn the story. I also have found searching the people/team to be helpful - sometimes an independent interview / medium article / etc will pop up. Other times there might be an intro article, whitepaper or discord.
